My hubby and I were outside pulling weeds that had overtaken our garden. But it wasn’t just the weeds that were out of control. Last year I had planted this tiny little mint plant. It smells great and it has really pretty purple flowers. Every now and then I would go out and pick some of the leaves and make mint tea. But I’ve let it get out of control and now it’s taken over a third of the garden and has attracted a whole lot of insects (including lots of bees!) Amazing how something so good turned so bad because I let it.
What have you allowed into your life because it seemed innocent enough? And now you’re spending all your time trying to deal with it because it got out of hand. Something can look nice and smell nice but too much of it isn’t always the best for you.
