Basically it is for people who have been wronged by a company.  A guy named Brad will take his news crew to them and try to talk to them for you.  A lot of times when people have a camera thrown in their face, they’re a little more willing to do the right thing.  I always see how happy the cheated people are afterwards and how thankful they are to have someone on their side.

This is something we need throughout life.  Someone in our corner.  Not just any someone though.  Take boxers for example, they have a hand selected couple of guys in their corner.  They only choose those who will give them the right advice and encourage them to keep on going til the final bell.  Imagine if they picked someone who really had no interest in the fight at all.  What if they didn’t care if they fought a good fight or even finished it?  Or what if that someone they picked just wanted to jump in there and fight it for them?

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you are in a spiritual fight and you need someone in your corner.  You need someone to be there for you cheering you on, giving you sound advice and encouraging you to stay in the ring.

Joshua had an encourager in his corner.  His name was Moses. Moses didn’t go over and fight FOR Joshua…he wasn’t even allowed to cross over where the fight would be.  The Bible says in Deuteronomy 3:28 that God told Moses- “Take a good look, but you may not cross the Jordan River.  Instead, commission Joshua and encourage and strengthen him, for he will lead the people across the Jordan. He will give them all the land you now see before you as their possession.” Joshua NEEDED Moses.

We all need someone in our corner.  I have several in mine and they too have been carefully hand picked.  Matter of fact, one of them left for awhile and I felt the difference.  That’s how you know when someone is really an encouragement to you…you notice their absence.   Be that for someone else too.  Somebody needs YOU in their corner!

Who’s in your corner?  And who’s corner are YOU in?

“Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.”1Timothy 6:12
