hqdefaultWe all know about Paul, the most extraordinary missionary there ever was!  He is the reason we all know the gospel.  How about Billy Graham?  Thousands, probably millions have received salvation through hearing the messages of Mr. Graham.  Andrew Wommack is being heard throughout the world over radio and television, etc. Many have been healed, saved, delivered because of his faithfulness in speaking the truth of God’s word.

However, not all of us are going to be a Paul, Billy, or Andrew but do you know how many times you’ve probably had an opportunity to be an Ananais, Mordecai Ham, or Bob Nichols?  Who are these guys?

I’m glad you asked.  Bob Nichols is a preacher in Ft. Worth Texas and during one of his meetings over 30 years ago, he walked up to a guy, hugged him and said, “Don’t give up”.  That young man was Andrew Wommack,  now the founder of Charis Bible College where I’m attending.  I’m very grateful to Mr. Bob Nichols and I got the chance to tell him that just a few weeks ago!

Mordecai Ham was leading a revival in 1934 when Billy Graham asked the Lord into his life.

Ananais received some scary instructions from the Lord and he obeyed.  God sent him to a man who hated everything Ananais stood for.  He thought it was certain death for him and yet, he went anyway and shared the love of Christ with Saul, later known as as Paul.

Sunday school teachers, praise and worship leaders,  congregation….all Christ followers, YOU have a purpose!  Listen to God.  One word from Him, and one obedient step of faith from you may create a chain reaction leading millions of people to the Lord.

Are you willing to be an Ananais?

Acts 9:13 “But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers[a] in Jerusalem! 14 And he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest everyone who calls upon your name.”

15 But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel. 16 And I will show him how much he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

17 So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized. 19 Afterward he ate some food and regained his strength.
