But guess what? God STILL loves the world. He’s calling all men toward Him….He longs for a relationship with us. He desires to set us free from ourselves and the messes we make, the pains we cause, and the hurt we suffer. He has given us the cure…but people just aren’t accepting it….or haven’t heard about it.
His love….His gift of Jesus….He wants the world to receive it. He’s not holding back because of any wrong doing…He is desperately pursuing the lost and He’s using His body – the church – to reach them.
Are you lost in the world needing to be found? Or are you part of the church who needs to be seeking those lost? You’re either one or the other.
There is a hurting, dying world out there, condemned by their own thoughts of guilt, shame, and unbelief. They HAVE to be told that there is a God Who loves them unconditionally…Who has forgiven them entirely…and Who is seeking them diligently.
If you have received this gift of freedom and you know what it’s like to be unconditionally loved and pursued…are you sharing this with others? Are you reaching out to the people who are so lost in their own guilt and shame that they don’t even realize how much they are hurting themselves or others?
What the world needs to know is that there is a God who has a loving body with arms and hands reaching out to rescue (not condemn) those who are lost. A body with legs and feet willing to go to the furthest darkest edges of the earth to bring them into His family. A mouth willing to shout from the rooftops the TRUTH of Jesus Christ….the absolute love that God has for ALL!
Are you part of that body? Which part are you? Not sure yet? Ask our Father and then BE that part. There is a world waiting to hear this Good News and YOU can be the one to deliver it!
And the church is His body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself. – Ephesians 1:23
For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” – Luke 19:10
But if I say I’ll never mention the Lord or speak in His name, His word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it! – Jeremiah 20:9
I believe we should all have this type of passion for God’s word in our heart. Jeremiah felt this way because people didn’t like what he was having to say. We get to share GOOD NEWS!! How much MORE on fire should our hearts be??
