Is there really such thing as “Behind Closed Doors”? I believe so many people think they are living a life there. A place we are able to do things that noone knows about…or will ever know about. Or maybe you are the victim of things done or said to you “behind closed doors”.
I was praying the other day and just asked the Lord what He wanted to say. This is what I believe I heard so I just began writing, “I’m watching, I’m aware! Things don’t happen behind closed doors. The innocent will conquer. I don’t like to see my people suffer. It was never part of my plan. It hurts me, but I am no longer out for vengeance on the ones who are making people suffer. I am out to love them, I need to show them my unconditional, undeserving love – through my people. The captive can win the soul of the one who captured them. That’s what I need my people to know. Love, not war is a real thing. If my people would show compassion on the lost and hurting people (who THINK they have to hurt others to feel good) there would be less lost and hurting people who are hurting others. Yet instead, my people want revenge and they want to use ME to get it. NO! I want restoration. I want restored souls. I want all my children to come to me and be accepted into my arms again.”
Then the verse I heard was 1 John 1:5. I had to look it up to see what it says. Wow! 1 John 1:5 “This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.”
God sees what is going on behind closed doors and He needs US to shine His light in those dark places, not pray for His wrath on the people living there. Don’t be a Jonah. Begin to pray for those who have hurt you, begin to love those you believe are unlovable. Show compassion to those who have not heard the truth and are being deceived by our real enemy, the devil.
Ever received a smile just by giving one? Try it on the street…it works!
